2021 “Rivers of the city: River of Sofia 2021,” in collaboration with the The Collective, the second edition of an
annual festival that seeks to underline Bulgaria’s riverbanks, by unlocking their potential through short-term site-specific
interventions. This year, the project activated the riverside of the Vladayska river under Lion’s Bridge from September 21
through September 26, 2021.
2021 “Rivers of the city: River Station Ruse,” a collaborative 1 month public space intervention, in partnership with
The Collective, Bulgaria, 4 local vocational high schools, and the America 4 Bulgaria Foundation, designed
to improve tourism, art and culture along the Danube river: connecting residents to the river and the river with the city.
2021 “Poiema Collective. Bregovo Residency,” pilot program that connected 2 American artists, 1 German
artist and 2 Bulgarian artists, for 3 weeks, with a focus on Bregovo

meeting that holds the space for artists from all over the world, and in any discipline, to meet and create from their
own space during the course of 3 hours of shared studio time.
